Nothing pisses me off more. I’ve now been banned from countless CS servers because apparently, I use a wallhack. Now, for those who are blissfully ignorant of what exactly that entails, allow me to enlighten you.

A wallhack basically allows you to see through walls onto players. There are several methods of accomplishing this, including making levels “wireframe”, that is no textures. Another, more popular method, as it is much less obvious, is to make players appear as red and blue dots, squares or ovals (corresponding team colors) that shine through walls, or it just makes the players avatars show through the walls, leaving the textures intact. This reduces your own collision with the landscape, and makes for a less obvious cheat.

Wait, I hear you say. How do you know so much about cheats when you claim not to be cheating? I read up on the bullshit I am accused of, you fucking dumbass, THAT’S how. Now on with my rant.

Now, I’m a subpar aimer. But it doesn’t matter, I make up for it with something that is mostly unheard of in Multiplayer First-Person Shooter games: Tactics. You’d find many literary works on the subject, if you bothered looking, but nothing really beats the nit and grit of personal experience. After playing a game for 6 years, you realize people are usually stupid, repetitive and predictable. Admins are no exception to this. In Counter-Strike, I can play a server for 10 minutes, and predict every move each player is most likely to make with 95% accuracy. Dead on.

And when you got that skill, you don’t even have to aim, people just fucking walk straight into your crosshair. Game over.

I just fucking hope these admins are not as dangerously incompetent with their dayjobs, or someone will accidentally get their head cut off one day. It just pisses me off that admins can choose to ban someone for cheating just because they are tactically superior to them, and their loyal team of dredged dogs.

So, if you administrate or moderate access to a Counter-Strike server, bear this in fucking mind next time you see someone suspicious on your server, and do some RIGOROUS fucking testing of the person in question. Otherwise, I will find out where you live, fuck you, your family, and even that little squirrel in your front yard, and proceed to castrate you with a wooden cooking spoon for being retarded.

So yeah it’s been a while. Fuck you, I’m trying to lead a fucking life here. I’ll get around to putting some shit up eventually, like torrents you’ll never download and images you’ll barely pay any attention.

But seriously, I will. Even if you don’t care. Just not right now.

I am clearly not engineered for this kind of weather. It’s 30C here and all I want to do is lay down and die. I feel totally limp, unable to do even the most mundane of tasks, and I want to sleep. I am so tired.

But apparently it will rain tomorrow, so let’s hope that brings the temperature down a bit, because right now I just feel like shit. Fucking weather.

When it rains it pours. This post will probably be shorter though and less descriptive because I’m tired and lazy. Just rest assured all of these are good albums.

First off, Jason Newsted’s new band since 2001, Voivod. The new Katorz album has plenty of snappy riffs and avant-garde thrash inspirations. Fancy shit, worth the listen.

Voivod – Katorz

Next, some heavy hitting thrash from Shadows Fall. Being compared to Soilwork, In Flames and At The Gates is no easy thing to live up to, but they seem to manage quite well with their new album “Fallout from the War”. If you liked the referenced bands, you will also appreciate this.

Shadows Fall – Fallout from the War

Now for some good old Power Metal, Stormwitch is here to deliver with their Best Of album, Priest of Evil.

Stormwitch – Priest of Evil

And finally, some rock from Montrose. Good classical rock from the 70′s never dies.

Montrose – Self titled album + Paper Money album

Alright metalheads, it’s that time again. Time to take Jay’s sound advice on what’s the killer music to get, and trust me. Because I am just that great. First off, a band that just delivers time and time again, the S Y L, Strapping Young Lad. We’re going to have to start taking bets on how many albums he can make this year, and if they will all be as incredibly good as the 3 he made last year.

But here they are, with The New Black promo that just leaked. Remember to buy this one when it hits the street kids, you fucking know it’s worth it.

Strapping Young Lad – The New Black 80mB

Next up the new Enslaved album which has gotten acclaim across the bar, Ruun. Every song on this album is painstakingly constructed with incredible diversity. You’ll hear everything from soft acoustic guitars to an all out metal assault. Symphonic black metal mixes with progressive and Viking influences. They also have melodic vocals alongside the black metal rasps.

Enslaved – Ruun 82mB

From Sweden hails Scaar, a band that plays modern thrash metal with a high dose of energy. Already from the beginning of ‘The Second Incision’ one can deduce how the album will sound. In-your-face metal with hard-hitting drums and guitar riffs not to mention groovy basslines and morose vocals.

There’s something rather appealing about some of the Scaar’s songs. It might be the raw power and the straightforward attitude that makes an impression to me. Worth the listen.

Scaar – The Second Incision 74mB

Cult black metal act, DARKTHRONE, picked up their game after a lackluster few albums in the late ’90s/early 2000s with 2004′s Sardonic Wrath. Their latest offering, perhaps a claim to their continued significance, The Cult is Alive, is a loose but exciting album that sees the Norwegian duo kick it up a notch. Instead of the mid-paced plodding DARKTHRONE threw at us with Ravashing Grimness and Plagueweilder, Nocturno Culto and Fenriz have sharpened their fangs and wits with some bouncier necro-riffs.

The Cult is, indeed, very much alive.

Darkthrone – The Cult is Alive 73mB

Indie Metal? Maybe not, but Zao delivers some of what may be the most exciting new styles I’ve heard since I first put on a Tool album. Right off the bat, I can hear this is going to be something special and unique, and it delivers just what I want, and so much more. Extreme riffs, relentless, face melting and brutal, but with melodies at the core. Just what the doctor ordered.

Zao – The Fear is what Keeps Us Here 66mB

OK so I just finished downloading 1 movie I had never seen (I chanced it), and 2 movies I think are kickass. And here they are for you.

First off, the surprise hit: Hoodwinked. It was hilarious. Sorry for not being very verbose, but it’s 1:36 am and shit so deal with it. Suffice to say, it was kickass.

Hoodwinked DVD Rip 700mB
Next up, a Coen movie, one of their best ever. Based very loosly on the Odyssey by Homer, I can easily say it’s one of the funniest and deepest movies ever to hit the streets.

O Brother, Where Art Thou 700 mB
Lastly, another Tim Burton classic, Corpse Bride. With Johnny Depp as always, it’s another take on the hilarity of morbidity from the guy that invented a new genre with Beetlejuice.

Corpse Bride 700mB

I spent much of my day today at a friends place, setting up a FreeBSD server. We got it installed, and then we got to the arduous task of configurating the kernel for recompilation so that shit would actually work, whereupon we could configurate network settings and set it up as a VPN server.

Mostly we are doing this because we’re planning on programming a game, and we need a server to test on, store code on, etc. But also we’re going to use it for LAN games, and alot of other crap that is probably very very illegal. So naturally we’re happy we together are pretty proficient within the UNIX/Linux realm. Unfortunately, neither of us had expected the recompilation to take eons upon eons. So we won’t be doing anything until tomorrow, and we’re going to get drunk tomorrow so I don’t know how productive we will be.

Anyway, I’m just rambling to pad the image posts. Oh, yeah, by the way… There’s an image post coming…

THAT EXPLAINS WHY IT’S 450 FUCKING DEGREES AND I FIND MYSELF WETTER THAN A FRESHLY TICKLED 200 POUND PUSSY!

Seriously, fuck this heat, it’s rendered me nigh-incapacitated. But I’ll try to get something done here tomorrow, because it’s been a while and I’ll probably have a better motivation for it in the morning.
