First off, you may all know Geoffrey Rush best as Captain Barbossa in Pirates of the Caribbean, but believe it or not he has starred in other movies as well, one being Quills, about the renowned moralist and general pervert, Marquis de Sade (120 days of Sodom, Justine, Juliette, Philosophy in the Bedroom, and Crimes of Love.
It’s a really fun movie to watch. Sit down with the kids, make an evening of it.

Alright, it’s time for some more killer music for you fuckers to enjoy. I have a good share of stuff to give you now, and I’ll try to be as brief with describing each because there’s so many of them this time.
Regardless of what my description says, you should check them all, because they all kick ass. If they didn’t I wouldn’t bother posting them.

Michael Schenker Group – Tales of Rock n Roll Interesting concept-album by this German guy. Very melodic, and retro-rock inspired metal.
Katatonia – The Great Cold Distance Latest from this kickass Melodic Doom Metal band.
Zebrahead – Broadcast to the world Nice Modern Rock album from the people that gave us “I’m Money”, and “Playmate of the year”
Eidolon – The Parallel Otherworld Very cool Speed Power Metal.
Cloudscape – Crimson Skies Swedish Progmetal. Sound familiar? You know that combination of nationality and subgenre always works. You KNOW it.
Queenr?che – Operation Mindcrime II Progressive Hard Rock at its finest.
Godsmack – Complete Discography Just because. Godsmack is Godsmack. And they beat the living crap out of a punkrock band last year. You know it’s good.
